WHY LEARN TO SEW?
Sewing your own clothing can be an exciting, fulfilling hobby, not to mention a lifelong skill that will be useful for many projects.

Instead of hours of hunting through clothing racks,imple yet stylish outfit that everyone will admire and I will be there with you every step 
            
Learn To Sew Basics Class
  • Learn To Sew Series are held weekly in 2 1/2 hours session. Students will have fun learning basic sewing skills that are built on as they move through simple to more challenging projects as they learn. The students will build a binder of samples of each technique we use in class for future reference. Students will need a basic zigzag style sewing machine in good working condition; if one is not available the instructor has a few machines available for a use fee. Students will be required to provide their own supplies for each class, a basic list will be provided by the instructor upon class sign-up and payment.  

Learn to Sew for Home Schooler's Schedules: 

When:
Wednesdays 3:30 to 6:00
Thursdays 1:30 to 4:00 or 5:30 to 8:00
Fridays 1:30 to 4:00

Dear Rosanna,

Make a Jean Jacket in 2 weekends -  $100.00 

Jean Jackets can have a Classy look for evening or be from an Everyday fabric or from fun fabrics. You can embellish them with rhinestones, iron ons, fabric paint, beads to show your unique creativity and style.
 
Rosanna will assist you with getting that pattern to fit properly and pin fit the fabric to assure a good fitting garment.
 
We will do all the fitting and cutting, then we will be sewing and you can do embellishments so you can wear that gorgeous jacket home.

This jackets was designed for medium weight woven fabrics such as cotton, cotton types, denim, twill, gabardine and linen in any color.
This jacket has a front and back yokes (perfect for trim) along with a three panel front and back. It features pockets (great place for your name or some bling) in the yoke seams with flaps and topstitching details.

These are some examples of jean jackets that other people have done in the past. You can see they can be quite versatile. Once you make one, you to can experiment on your next jean jacket project with length, style, size, but any of them are always great for any embellishments, embroidery, beads, charms, iron ons, fabric paint, etc. to you show your personal creativity and style.

Some of the jacket's shown are not the project you will be making in class. They are intended to show you embellishment, different fabrics, lengths, etc. for future projects you may want to try.
 
 
REGISTRATION & CANCELATION POLICIES
 
The cost of this class is $100. plus materials
 
Students are required to provide all of there own materials prior to the first day of class.
 
Don't foret to sign up for class!!

EMBELLISHMENTS
Some embellishments will be available for sale during or before class.
Be sure to pay for any you want prior to class to make sure its available, limited quantities available on a first come first served basis.
